This charming little spot at 2 Chome-2-5 Shibuya, Tokyo 150-0002, Japan, invites you into a world where the art of coffee brewing meets the delicate balance of modern and traditional Japanese aesthetics.

The menu at Soyo Caffe boasts an enticing selection centered around matcha, coffee, and rich desserts. Customers rave about the exquisite matcha basque cheesecake, a dense and delightful treat that captivates your taste buds. Complementing the dessert menu, patrons enjoy the meticulously brewed drip coffee which, as described by Justin Shircliff, is not only well-prepared but also perfectly creamy, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them. Combine this with the iced matcha latte that guests can customize by pouring the matcha themselves, offering a truly interactive experience—Denise Siy awarded Soyo Caffe an A+ for presentation.

For those with a flair for the unique, the cheesecake infused with rose water served with a chai latte offers a distinct flavor profile that Daria P. found rich and indulgent, though she noted the chai's sweetness could be overwhelming for some. Whether you're enjoying the rich textures of the matcha chiffon pudding alongside your matcha latte, or savoring the delightful medley of flavors found in every dessert, Soyo Caffe cultivates a culinary experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Coffee brewed with attention to detail, great taste! The matcha basque cheesecake was dense and delightful. A bit expensive but a great place to sit and escape the bustle

I had a cheese cake with rose water and chai latte. The cheesecake was very tasty very thick and rich taste. Adding rose water gave it a nice unusual touch. The chai was a bit too sweet for me and unfortunately you cannot adjust the sweetness. The cafe itself is not big but has a nice decor, a combination of the Japanese motives with some more industrial style. Unfortunately the cafe can get pretty crowded even on a weekday, so it is not a place to come and relax. Well, maybe if you come early in the morning but not in the afternoon.

Perfect place to pass the time reading your favorite book. Look how the matcha latte and matcha chiffon pudding matched my matcha colored Little Women book with matcha colored hand croched bookmark picture came nicely together. Ambiance was relaxing and spaciously design with elements of old Japanese and modern touch.

If you want to enjoy some matcha in a relaxing environment, Soyo Caffe is the place to be Since I came on a weekday, there was hardly any people inside and I was able to get my order right away. I had an iced matcha latte and loved that I was able to pour the matcha myself They definitely get an A+ for presentation! In terms of taste, this matcha is more on the sweet side. I normally prefer my matcha to be unsweetend with a stronger taste but Soyo Caffe's matcha latte wasn't bad. Although it was indeed sweet, I've definitely had sweeter from other cafes so I still enjoyed my matcha The interior was very beautiful! Because I arrived during the late afternoon, the mood of the cafe was super peaceful and chill. I actually ended up staying longer than I originally planned because of how cozy I felt inside I love the aesthetic of the cafe too wherein they have modern elements with a touch of wooden decor The staff were also very friendly and took my order with a smile on their faces

I really enjoyed this cafe. It’s small and cozy, with a laidback vibe. It’s a place you can sit and relax for a while. I ordered the drip coffee and it was done well. I also went with the matcha cheesecake, which was delicious. It was creamy and not overpowered by the green tea taste. The staff were friendly and the service fast.
